The graduation ceremony ticket is $65.00 (plus booking fee) per graduand and includes:
- One (1) graduand ticket
- Two (2) complimentary guest tickets
- Professional photography session including one complimentary portrait download (Not taken at your Portrait Session - your ‘complimentary” individual head shot will be taken directly after you collect your regalia)
- Graduation stole and gown hire
- Light refreshments (small snack and drink per person)
- Keepsake graduation program and medallion
- Printed certificate / testamur
Each graduand can book a maximum of two (2) guest tickets for the graduation ceremony. Children over 24 months of age will require their own guest ticket.
If additional guest tickets become available, graduands will be advised. Additional guest tickets will be at a cost of $15 per ticket. (Limitations apply).
As part of your graduation package, when you are gowned you will receive a photography session along with one ‘complimentary” individual head shot download. In addition to this, you can download and purchase further photographs from your online gallery. at your individual Portrait Session.
- 3.30pm – check in time begins
- 4.00pm – light refreshments served (more substantial offerings can be purchased through the venue café or bar located on site or at restaurants close by)
- 4.30pm – check in time closes
- 4.50pm – graduands will be asked to be seated in the theatre for a briefing
- 5.10pm – guests will be asked to enter theatre and be seated
- 5.30pm – the ceremony begins in the theatre
- 7.30pm – expected conclusion of ceremony
- 7.30pm – gown return available for one hour post ceremony
Gowns and stoles are hired by Chisholm and cannot be purchased.
Mortarboards are worn by Undergraduate certificate and Bachelor level and above graduands only.
You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to the ceremony to receive a full refund.
All cancellations must be in writing and sent to events@chisholm.edu.au. Refunds will not be considered with less than 48 hours’ notice. All refunds will be provided by the venue.
Your one ‘complimentary’ individual head shot will be available to download via the Reed Events App following your Graduation (You will recieve infromation regarding this following your ceremony). In addition to this, should you have a full Portrait Session, you can download and purchase further photographs from your online gallery.
- Graduands and their guests will receive a small snack and drink as part of their graduation ticket at approximately 4pm.
- If graduands and their guests are after a more substantial meal, the venue café and bar will be open for purchases.
- Many restaurants and eateries are available close by.
A Portrait Session is the time you spend with our professional photographer. Your photographer will take a range of different shots and poses of the graduate by themselves as well as extra shots with family and friends.
Our studios are available before and after the ceremony. You can proceed to the photography area as soon as you have your gown, and immediately after the ceremony. Our studios close (temporarily) strictly 45 minutes before the ceremony commences.
No. we take a photograph of every single graduate. A photo of every graduate is available to view and purchase immediately after the ceremony. To save time on the day click here to pre-book online.
To view and order your Portrait Photo Proofs, please use either of the following methods:
METHOD 1: Download the 'Reed Events' App (Available on the App Store and Google Play Store). Once downloaded, select your university. From here you can use the 'Picture of you' feature, here you will upload/take a picture of yourself to find your ceremony photos. (This option will also find your stage image and any candid images you were a part of). Alternatively, you can scroll down to 'Quick Links' and type in your 'G reference code'
METHOD 2: You will need your reference code starting with ‘G’ to view the images through the “View/Order Portrait Images” button on our website. Once the proofs are available you can start ordering, however please note, it could be up to 5 business days later for purchased digital images to be available to download.
Either method you choose, once you can view your images, select ‘View Details’ to see the purchase options.
- Go to our website and login to your account.
- Then click 'My Account' in the top right corner and then 'My Orders' from the dropdown menu.
- On the order summary page, click the 'download' button next to the relevant order.
- From this link you will be able to save the images to your computer. The images can be downloaded multiple times, if necessary.
Please note: Pre-booked orders and orders placed shortly after graduation: Your digital image files will be available to download from "My Account" within 48 hours after your graduation.

- Click on ‘View/Order Stage Images’.
- Select the date and time of your ceremony. Click GO.
- This will show everyone who crossed the stage. Select your image and then your preferred format (print/digital, etc.)
- Click ‘add to cart’ and follow the prompts to checkout.
Reed Events are dedicated to providing only the absolute highest level of quality. Your printed images will be thoughtfully re-touched, carefully packaged and delivered to your door or post office approximately 4 weeks after ordering. Digital images are available online instantly after you place your order. Framed images can take up to 6 weeks due to the nature of creating custom frames.
